Project Description

Brant Mechanical Air Conditioner Maintenance

When it comes to air conditioner maintenance, Brant Mechanical knows better than anyone that a dirty or leaking air conditioner costs money and time, as well as impacting the environment. You can avoid costly breakdowns by having potential problems identified with regularly scheduled tune-ups. As the cost of electricity rises, so does the importance of being efficient with tune-ups.

If you sign up for one of our Cooling Maintenance Plans, sweating out the hot summer months will never become an issue. Before the temperatures climb too high, book an appointment today.

We will send out one of our experienced technicians who are licensed and certified by the TSSA for your initial appointment. They will complete a thorough inspection and give you a HomeCare report, which will include a detailed assessment of your equipment. Before they leave, they will recommend how you can keep your air conditioner running throughout the summer safely and efficiently.

What does the plan include:

Our technician will inspect your equipment for several things that could potentially cause harm, including hazardous debris and refrigerant leaks.

We will perform these eight diagnostic checks:

  • Check temperatures across air handler
  • Check temperatures/air flow across the condenser coil
  • Check and record ambient carbon monoxide (CO) levels
  • Check current draw on condenser motor and compressor
  • Test operation of the condensation system and evaporator coil
  • Test unit by putting it through a full operation cycle
  • Clean outdoor condenser unit
  • Clean evaporator coil drain line

If the technician is concerned about anything following the diagnostic checks, they will perform an up to 21-point safety check. This safety check will ensure that the technician will not leave your home without being entirely sure your air conditioner is working safely and keeping your home comfortable. The safety check will ensure that your equipment is working under the specifications of the manufacturer, improve your home’s air quality, detect any carbon monoxide, and prolong your air conditioning unit’s lifespan.

At Brant Mechanical, our technicians are fully trained and equipped with the knowledge and tools to ensure that your home is comfortable throughout the summer. Our licensed technicians perform service and maintenance calls every year. Call us today to book an appointment today.
